RINOs, Never Trumpers and Leftists are all cooing over Donald Trump’s recent comments on Truth Social seeming to advocate “the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution” because he believes (with evidence) the 2020 election was stolen from him.
Of course, they make no attempt to put President Trump’s comments in context. But even without context, I don’t think his words are so outrageous.
If you think about it, the rules, regulations and the Constitution are no longer operative. We know that not because of Trump’s claim that the election was stolen from him, which is only a theory (though with heaps of evidence). We know it because, both in the 2020 and 2022 elections, mail-in voting was brazenly and openly used for the purposes of ballot harvesting, resulting in totally unexpected, if not implausible, victories for the Democrats in every case.
Put it this way: In both 2020 and 2022, and in every election going forward, we can expect the following in borderline/swing states run by Democrats (which they all are, and will continue to be): Republicans slightly or heavily ahead in some cases, even in polling slanted toward Democrats; initial returns showing a close race but Republicans safely ahead; then sudden recounts or ballot harvests based upon mail-in votes (rarely, if anything, else) now suddenly show the Democrat won, sometimes by only a few hundred votes.
We see this again and again and again. It’s to the point where it’s predictable if not — in a dark sort of way — comical.
I predicted precisely this thing in the 2022 elections based on what we saw in the 2020 elections, especially in places like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona. All pre-electon indications pointed toward a Republican victory across the board. The results were mostly Democrat victories, and (outside of Florida, one of the only states without ballot harvesting or massive mail-in fraud) at best devastating disappointments for Republicans.
So go ahead and laugh at Donald Trump, as I see many of his former supporters now doing. The fact remains: Your chosen candidate to follow him — DeSantis (who is great), or anyone else — will NOT have any more success in borderline states than did Republicans in 2020 and 2022. YOU CAN’T PERMIT MAIL-IN VOTING WITHOUT ANY ID AND EXPECT HONEST RESULTS.
It’s as simple as that. So get used to one party rule. Because without a shake up of voting as we know it — something that Democrats in control at the federal level and in all of the swing states will NEVER permit — we’re stuck with what we have.
It’s not that the Constitution should be suspended. It has already been suspended — by the RINOs, Never Trumpers and Communist leftists who now control much of our culture and literally all of our government.
