Happy Thanksgiving!
I am grateful there are enough people still alive in America, and elsewhere, with a brain to thoroughly understand what’s going on. We’re literally living through the expansion of mediocrity described by Ayn Rand in Atlas Shrugged, and the rationalization of totalitarian dictatorship described in 1984, Animal Farm and elsewhere.
Millions are too ignorant and naive to see it. They’re like frogs being slowly boiled. But a vibrant minority DOES understand. Not enough to save us, from all the available evidence thus far. But it’s still good to be alive and know others have a brain.
Happy Turkey Day. And if you’re eating a feast today, be grateful the supply chain has not diminished to the point where there’s nothing to eat. Our economic ecosystem is way more fragile than most of us realize.
