We live in a time when the bad guys rule; where they get away with everything. Where they experience no accountability whatsoever for any of their choices. But sometimes we forget that the bad guys are losers. They possess no character, no intelligence and no souls. Whatever goodness they possessed perhaps in infancy or a year or two after that has long since rusted away. They are the dregs of humanity, and not to be envied. It’s only because the best of us became cowards that the bad guys get anywhere at all.
