Turning off the Internet in Cuba

If the Cuban government can turn off the Internet, why can’t the Biden regime?

“Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis suggested Tuesday that Florida-based companies should attempt to provide internet access to Cuba after the communist country shut off the internet to suppress recent protests and dissent.” [Fox News]

The premise here is that the “rights” and safety of the government supercede the rights of the individual to free speech and commerce. If you think our present regime in America isn’t capable of doing the exact same thing when it feels threatened enough to declare an “emergency”, you must have been sleeping over the last year and a half. In principle, we are now no different than Cuba. The one party (we still call it “Democrat”) permanently in control of media, culture and government will not tolerate any threats to its power.
