Hillary Clinton calls most Republicans “cowards” and “spineless enablers”; she describes herself as “literally sick to my stomach,” thinking of a win for President Trump.
Is she referring to Republicans in the government, her cronies of decades past? Or is she referring to all Republican voters? We already know what she thinks of people who vote for President Trump. She called us “deplorables”. In this statement, she doesn’t even seem to recognize there are voters. That President Trump is in office, and may win a second term, for a REASON: because people want him there. Because they believe he offers them something much better than career politicians like herself.
Instead of trying to understand why President Trump defeated her, she simply hates him. She scorns his supporters. She doesn’t learn. She doesn’t grow. She doesn’t evolve. Of course, the woman is a sociopath, and an unindicted criminal. We all know that. But her attitude is the dominant one in her party — including the people who fervently vote Democratic. They don’t want to understand. They just want to hit “delete” on the existence of any attitudes other than their own. Leftists I know, even when calmly and nicely confronted with an answer to their claims, hold up their hands and say, “I don’t want to hear it!”
In Hillary Clinton’s case, this is the mentality of a sociopath. When mass numbers of people adopt this attitude, you have the social and psychological attitude that dictators exploit. Civil wars and dictatorships are both awful things, things we should avoid. But how can we avoid them when one side says the others’ views have no validity, and should not even be permitted expression? That’s where we are.
