“Orlando Paper rejects Trump for 2020”. Who the hell cares what any NEWSPAPER thinks of President Trump — or anything else, for that matter?
Newspapers are, by and large, populated with intellectually illiterate twits who THINK they know way, way more than they do about economics, government, psychology, human nature, or just about anything.
The only rational claim newspapers might have to anything is objectivity. “We report, you decide”. In a proper newspaper, that would be both the theory and the practice.
But we all know that the vast majority of newspapers are NOTHING of the sort. They’re nothing more than contemporary Communist or fascist rags, propaganda mouthpieces for their unyielding, intolerant, collectivist, statist, always leftist points-of-view.
They tell themselves and each other they’re morally superior, but their inflated self-estimate is based on what a journalistic enterprise MIGHT and OUGHT to be, not what most of them are. These self-perceived beacons of truth and wisdom have no REMOTE CLUE what drives tens of thousands of people to show up at a President Trump rally (after 4 years of this) while poor old Joe Biden — their man — can barely generate 100.
President Trump’s era has merely exposed these worthless cultural wastelands for what they have been for a very, very long time.
If anything, it’s a GOOD thing that the Orlando paper rejects Trump’s bid for reelection. Only in the world of someone who still reads newspapers to get their opinions would the headline “Orlando Paper Rejects Trump” be of any significance at all.
