62.4 percent of article impressions were from sources rated in research as left-leaning, whereas 11.3 percent were from sources rated as right-leaning, a Northwestern University audit of Google found.
Wow. The bias is worse than we thought.
IMAGINE if the opposite were true. Leftists would be calling for an immediate equalization of media. Society is sick. We’re only getting one side of most issues. Kids in government-run schools with curriculum created exclusively by left-wingers creates the bias at an early age. It’s getting worse.
The sickness is deeper than politics and government. It’s intellectual and psychological. Fewer and fewer people think. When you think, you crave alternatives to what the one-sided media serves up. We don’t have a dictatorship, yet. But the atmosphere is ripe for dictatorship due to this widespread lack of thinking.
I blame schools first and foremost. Let’s privatize education as soon as possible, and break up the public school monopoly of mediocrity combined with corrupt, unaccountable teachers’ unions. Schools have created the snowflake mentality. A free society does not treat education like a military enterprise. Yet America does.
