A Texas mother claims her son was attacked at a Whataburger in San Antonio because he was wearing a Trump-supporting MAGA hat. The mother posted a video of the incident on Facebook.
“I support my President and if you don’t, let’s have a conversation about it instead of ripping my hat off. I just think a conversation about politics is more productive for the entire whole rather than taking my hat and yelling subjective words to me,” her son said.
As the video begins, the man says, “… supporting the president. You ain’t supporting shit nigga,” and then throws the drink in the face of a 16-year-old boy. With MAGA hat in hand, the man walks away saying “Bitch ass motherf**ker.”
The boy, Hunter Richard, said the man also pulled his hair while taking the hat, News4SA reported.
Wow. This story is such a metaphor—for everything.
The anti-Trump individual cannot and will not leave Trump supporters alone. He felt he had a right to assault the person who supported Trump, and even to take his MAGA hat.
It’s an abusive, tyrannical attitude. It’s an attitude reflective of someone who doesn’t believe in property rights, or individual rights of any kind. Quite honestly, are you surprised he finds a home in the increasingly and openly socialist Democratic Party?
If the same were done to him, the shrieks and the outrage would be heard round the world, throughout a sympathetic media, on college campuses funded by taxpayers (including Trump supporters), and in many federal and state courts. The state of California would probably shut down for a day of “solidarity”.
It’s got to stop. But it won’t. The attacker’s employer (not Whataburger) issued a statement saying,
It came to our attention earlier this evening that a part-time employee was captured on cell phone video assaulting another person at a local eatery. The assault took place, presumably, because this employee did not agree with the other individuals political stance.
We have since terminated this employee, as his actions go against everything that this establishment stands for.
Rumble has, and always will be, a bar that is as inclusive as any establishment could possibly be. THIS BAR IS A SAFE SPACE FOR EVERYONE! No matter your race, creed, ethnicity, sexual identity, and political stance, you are welcomed here!
We do not condone the actions or behavior that were displayed in the cell phone video, and we never will.
How refreshing. But why did such obvious common sense and decency become a refreshing rarity? Do you think the same firing of the offending employee would have happened in D.C., New York or California? I highly doubt it.
Reason, rationality, individualism and basic justice are going by the wayside. If we don’t reverse course, we’re not going to recognize the America we’re living in.
A climate of fear is the creation of tyrants. Tyrants do not have anything to reason or persuade about. They don’t think they should have to do so. They’re above it.
That’s the mentality of the attacker in this San Antonio Whataburger. But it’s no less the mentality of our media, our taxpayer-funded universities and our Congresspersons (e.g., Maxine Waters) who promote it all.
It’s got to stop. If it doesn’t, we’ve got a real civil war on our hands.
