One qualification:
Leftism is not liberal.
Leftism, now dominant in California, means restrictions, restraint, suppression and control.
Leftists do not persuade, reason, convince or prove. They are all about coercion and control. It’s not rational.
That’s why leftist regimes from the Soviet Union to Venezuela ALWAYS end up on the ash heap of history.
California will be no exception.
