Climate Change Hysterics Are the Intellectual Equivalent of Child Abusers

Al Gore on Twitter: “It’s bitter cold in parts of the US, but climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann explains that’s exactly what we should expect from the climate crisis.”

I thought tweeting was evil? Oh, no. I forgot. Only when Donald Trump tweets. When Al Gore tweets, it’s noble.

Gore linked to an article titled A ‘PERFECT STORM’: EXTREME WINTER WEATHER, BITTER COLD, AND CLIMATE CHANGE (climate changers often yell).

“World-renowned climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann explains why the bitter cold and snowy conditions gripping the US are ‘an example of precisely the sort of extreme winter weather we expect because of climate change,'” the article says.

The piece concludes: “So, to the climate change doubters and deniers out there, the unusual weather we’re seeing this winter is in no way evidence against climate change. It is an example of precisely the sort of extreme winter weather we expect because of climate change.”

Sigh.

It’s self-evidently absurd to the intellectual and psychological equivalent of grown-ups. But to the rest of the population, not so much.

“Climate Change” hysteria depends on the mentality of a child molester to “persuade” its victims.

Think about what a child molester relies upon: Ignorance, immaturity and fear.

Climate change alarmists count on the very same thing. They’re counting on people who listen to them to treat them as authorities, to ignore the evidence suggesting anyone else is an authority, and to draw the conclusions only the self-proclaimed authority presently talking to them wants them to draw.

Just like a child abuser.

“Don’t worry about what the other adults say. I’m right, and I’m nice. You won’t question me, will you? What’s wrong with  you? Just go with me and everything will be all right. I promise.” And in case that doesn’t work: “There will be hell to pay if you don’t do what I say.” Child molesters prey upon the fear and ignorance of innocent children. Climate change fanatics prey upon the fear, ignorance and largely eradicated critical thinking capacities of biological adults.

It’s freezing cold outside where I am right now, and I know that’s the case in a lot of other places. Even Florida is getting snow. Climate change hysterics utilize this as an opportunity to advance their claim that the sky is falling, exploiting the fear and ignorance of the approximately half of the population that uncritically accepts what they have to say.

Ignorance, immaturity and fear are reasonable qualities for a child to have. In adults, it’s not excusable, but the problem is just as real. Fortunately, a lot of us won’t listen to the intellectual equivalent of the man standing by the playground looking for young children to exploit.

Notice that it’s cold as hell and uncomfortable outdoors. Thanks to fossil fuels, capitalism, the profit motive, technology and all the other things that climate change hysterics wish to curb or eradicate, we’re comfortable inside despite the fact that it’s cold as hell outside. This is the kind of thing that they don’t want you to consider.

My advice? Stay warm. And keep the intellectual predators out.
