I have always questioned why some professionals offer a ‘crutch’ to the substance-abusers, thus assuring abusers that it’s not their fault, and therefore the abusers have no responsibility (and thus, no control) over their actions. Talk about negativity! Thanks for setting the record straight, although I’m sure you will strike a nerve with those ‘pros’ who are making a bundle of money with their negative therapy.
