Those Who Can’t Be Questioned

People who don’t like to be questioned are at war with facts. They assume that, “I’m bigger and better than reality.” But this is a contradiction. You cannot be bigger or better than something — reality — if you’re a part of it. To actually be better than somethng, you must be aside or apart from it. If you act on this false assumption, then you make yourself weak. A rational person sees such a person as weak — not as strong, or as possessing “too much” self-confidence.
