They’re Trying to Tell You Something

If friends or family implore you to “get help,” don’t get caught up in wondering if you need help or not. Don’t focus on whether they’re right. Instead, consider this: They are tired of hearing you complain. They are weary of your negativity. It brings them down, too. This is not to say they’re insincere in suggesting you get help. But they do want you to simply STOP being so negative, self-defeating, or whatever it is you’re being.

Maybe you need help, or maybe you don’t. Maybe you’ll benefit from it, or maybe you won’t. But that’s not always the main point. The main point is that you’re bringing down significant others around you. This is what they’re trying to tell you.
