ALCHOHOL CRACKDOWN

PIX BY MICHAEL HUGHES/DEADLINE
AN MSP is calling for the public to boycott BP garages after they launched a legal challenge against a scheme to crack down on underage drinkers.

The oil giant had its alcohol licence suspended earlier this year after a police scheme caught them selling booze to underage drinkers in Fife.

But now the company’s legal team are trying to launch a legal bid to destroy Fife police’s policy of sending teenagers into licenced premises undercover to expose those willing to sell drink to underage kids.

Now MSPs Helen Eadie has called for people to boycott the company over its legal bid to end the crackdown on underage drinking.
